How this site makes money

Plainly, so you can weigh what you read here.

RepCheckr is affiliated with Online Reputation Repair, a paid reputation and removal service. When the guides here suggest handing the work off, they point to Online Reputation Repair. If you hire them, that business earns money. Reading the guides and doing the opt-outs yourself costs nothing.

Three things that matter more than that paragraph:

• Every manual opt-out on this site is free and works without any paid service. The guides are complete on their own. The paid services are for people who would rather not do it themselves, or who want it kept up over time.
• We do not accept payment to feature a broker, soften a guide, or leave one out. A broker is listed because people get found on it.
• We will not tell you removal is permanent, because it is not. Brokers re-list from public records. Anyone who tells you otherwise - including a service we link to - is overselling.
